A delicious kheer recipe, Mango Sabudana Kheer Recipe is made of sago and flavored with mango pulp/fresh sweet ripe mangoes. It makes a delicious Indian dessert that’s highly irresistible for parties along with a north indian meal.

Mango Sago Kheer, a delectable sabudana Kheer where we have added mango to add some extra flavour and taste. As the mango is in season, you can make this kheer and enjoy with your weekend meals. 

We have also added cardamom powder which makes it even more delicious. Make this Kheer on festivals or even for your special occasions. 

For this recipe i used mango pulp. You can used ripe mangoes too. This is very easy to make. If you are planning to prepare for guest or for parties. Cook sago prior, keep it fridge. Then add mango pulp and mix well before serving. Ok let’s jump into the recipe.

A delicious kheer recipe, Mango Sabudana Kheer Recipe is made of sago and flavored with mango pulp/fresh sweet ripe mangoes.

Prep Time : 20 mins Cooking Time : 20 mins
Serves : 4-5 Cuisine : indian


Ingredients:
Sago/Sabudana : 1/2 cup (soaked for 20 mins)
Water : 2 cups
Full fat Milk : 1.5 cups
Sugar : 1/4 cup
Elachi powder : 1/2 tsp
mango pulp : 2 cups
Saffron Strands : few (optional)

Method:
1. Wash and soak sago for 20 mins. Drain the water, transfer to cooker along with 2 cups of water.
2. close with the lid, pressure cook it for 3 whistles on medium heat.
3. allow the pressure to release naturally. Once the pressure has released, open the cooker.  drain the water and rinse it in lots of cold water, set aside.
4. In mean time, boil the milk in a pan. Add in in sugar, elachi powder, saffron strands and mix well. Now add in the drained sago and cook for few more mins.
5. Let it cool down, pour this in a bowl and chill till it is cold. It will thicken a lot.
6. Add mango pulp and mix well. Or take mango in a blender,puree smooth. Add this into the cold kheer, mix well. Chill before serving. Serve cold.
