Bread Halwa/Easy sweets/ Bread ka Halwa – Version 2

on

Hi Friends, Lets start a month with sweet. Bread Halwa, an easy sweet to treat our surprise guest at home. All ready i have post bread-halwa. Which is deep fried method for my princess 1/2 birthday.

But this one is shallow fried method. Rest procedure are same only. There will not be that much differ between both. But who are all health conscious, dieting. Can try this bread halwa. But texture may differ. Because in deep fried method, it will loose oil/ghee. But in shallow fried method, we use little oil/ghee.

While popularly it is known as bread halwa in india, but some prefer to call it as bread pudding recipe too. perhaps because of the texture, colour and more importantly it is full of nuts. but the good news is both the recipes are totally different. bread ka halwa recipe is prepared more with indian style and more importantly with desi ghee. whereas bread pudding is more english or european style with loads of butter and sweet syrups. often it may also contains egg white with condensed milk too. also some recipes may have to refrigerated until it is set. so bottom line is, these 2 are different recipes altogether.
