Soya chunks is also called as meal maker or vegetarian texture protein is a good source of protein for vegetarians. Soya chunks is a favorite food for most of the kids. This can have with rice, briyani or as a snacks. My sis love this meal maker fry when ever i made this. With soya chunks we can do lots of recipes like cutlet, kurma, briyani etc., so here im sharing soya chunks 65 or fry.
Serves : 3-4
Prep Time : 10 mins Cooking Time: 5 mins each batch
Meal maker/Soya chunks : 2 cups
Red chilly powder : 1 tsp
Garam masala : 2 tsp
Turmeric powder : 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste : 1 tbsp
Lemon Juice : 2 tbsp
Corn flour : 2 tbsp
Rice Flour : 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil for deep fry
- Boil water in a pan, add chunks into it, boil it for 5 mins.It should be soft if u press it. Then drain water, let it cool down completely. Then take some chunks in your hand, squeeze out water, set a side.
2. Now mix all spice powder, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice and salt. Allow it to marinade for 10 mins. Then add corn and rice flour, toss it well.
3. Heat oil for deep fry, drop some chunks in oil. Fry them up, till golden brown. Drain it in kitchen towel for excess oil.
Serve it hot. I like to add curry leave, if you want you can add it to.
