Masala Tea/Chai

Relieves Pain and Inflammation: Masala chai contitutes a whole array of spices like, clove, cinnamon, elaichi, ginger and pepper. Every spice have its own individual health benefits. In Masala chai, all spices benefits works in synergy to relieve inflammation. Here we are going to see refreshing masala chai.

Serves : 2          Prep Time : 15 mins


Tea Dust : 2 tsp

Sugar : 4 tsp

Water : 1 glass

Milk : 1.5 glass

To make Tea Masala:

Peppercorn : 5 nos

Cardamom : 3

Fennel seeds : 1/2 tsp

Cinnamon Stick : 1.5 inch

Ginger Root : 1 inch


  1. In a tea pan add water, tea powder and sugar. Then in mixer take all ingredients to make masala and make a coarse powder. Add this masala to tea pan, allow it to boil for 5 mins.

    2. Now add milk in to boiling masala tea water. Allow it to boil for 5 mins on medium heat and 5 mins in low heat. Then strain tea and serve hot with snacks. Refresh yourself.


    1. If you have all powder like ginger powder, cinnamon powder, you can add powder also. But making fresh powder will give nice aroma to a tea.
