This is one of my Mom’s special. Very easy to cook and spicy to eat. It will go with white rice, briyani, dal, rasam etc., This recipe can cook like in gravy form also. But i like dry version. Let’s have a look on recipe.

Serves : 2-3

Prep Time : 5 mins     Cooking Time : 40 mins

Ingredients:

Lamb : 1/2 kg

Warm Water : 1 cup

Oil : 3 tsp

For Grinding:

Peppercorn : 2 tsp

Cumin Seeds : 2 tsp

Garlic : 7-8 nos

Dry red chilly : 1-2

Turmeric Powder : 1 tsp

Salt to taste

Method:

  1. First take a grinding ingredients to a mixer, grind to smooth paste.20161227_113210.jpg2. Take a cleaned and washed lamb pieces in a pressure cooker. Now add a grinded paste in lamb. Then add warm water. Pressure cooker for 15-20 mins on medium heat.20161227_114453.jpg3. Once air got released open a lid, check it has cooked softly. Then in cast iron skillet or non stick pan. add oil and cooked lamb. keep on medium low heat. Stir it occasionally upto it comes to dry form. See a pics attached how it has roasted to dry.
