Mint Tea/Chai

Mint is a great appetizer or palate cleanser, and it promotes digestion. It also soothes stomachs in cases of indigestion or inflammation. When you feel sick to your stomach, drinking a cup of mint tea can give you relief. Mint leaves, especially freshly crushed leaves help you deal with nausea and headache. The strong and refreshing aroma of mint is a quick and effective remedy for nausea.

Serves : 2

prep time : 2 mins   Cooking Time : 8mins


Tea dust : 2 tsp

Sugar : 4 tsp

water : 1 glass

Milk : 1.5 glass

Ginger : 1/2 inch crushed

Mint : 10 leaves

cardamom powder : 1/2 tsp


1. Take water in a sauce pan. Add sugar, tea dust, crushed ginger, mint, cardomom powder. Allow it to boil for 5 mins on medium high.


2. Then add a milk, allow to boil another 3 mins. Then strain a tea and serve hot with snacks as your wish.20161211_17323320161211_174331
